Bridal Shoot at the Pumpkin Patch

After working 79 hours last week… I finally had a chance to go through and edit some photos from a bridal shoot I had the other week with Dezirae. I was really looking forward to the shoot because Dez is an upbeat girl with a great personality… So I knew we’d have a blast taking pictures once it was time to get going. But I have to admit I was a little worried when we checked in on Dez while she was getting her makeup done… Because I have never seen her so nervous before! Our makeup artist even thought Dez was getting married on the day of the shoot because she was more nervous than most brides are on their actual wedding day. But eventually Dez calmed down and once she put on her wedding dress I was blown away with how good she looked and we were on our way to Lathrop to take some photos at Dell’ Osso Farms (… Special thanks to them for letting us take pictures out there by the way).
We ended up taking a variety of photos and were blessed with a great sunset as well so I was really thankful for that! While I loved the sunset and Dez’s smile, I’m not even sure if the sunset picture was my favorite from the shoot. Originally I was expecting to get a lot of photos with Dez smiling and laughing because that best portrays her personality, but two of my favorite photos are actually when I caught Dez between poses. One occurred when she glanced the other direction while she was sitting in the pumpkin patch, and the other took place when she was standing outside the corn maze. So it was a pleasant surprise to get a few different looks from Dez that night. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with how the shoot went and I’m really happy Dez was such a trooper and withstood some really nasty bug bites while we were out there. (… Thanks Dez!)
