While I grew up in California’s Central Valley, I’ll be the first to admit that my career didn’t really “take off” until I took a job as a photojournalist at the Naples Daily News in Southern Florida. I learned countless tips and refined my skills at a newspaper that was consistently recognized for its award-winning photography and design. After Florida, I landed a job as the photo editor for a group of weekly newspapers with a combined circulation of over 200,000 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a great experience and which really helped to develop some of my leadership skills before moving back to California in 2007. Now I work primarily as a university photographer, as well as sports photographer covering professional teams throughout Northern and Central California. Recently my university photography was recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education as the 2009 Grand Gold Photographer of the year.

Everything mentioned above covers most of my professional background in photography… and the only thing I really have left to say is that I love my job! I highly enjoy meeting and working with new people each and everyday, and I feel very lucky to have a job that allows me to work with a couple on one of the most memorable days of their lives. So if you’re viewing this site and are interested in talking sometime… feel free to drop me a line. I look forward to hearing from you!
