Where can I see your recent work?
While a variety of my work appears on websites across the U.S., it may be difficult to find on a daily basis depending on whether or not the company or organization supplies photo credit. So… with that being said, the best way to see my recent work is to visit my facebook page, or you can view some of my recent blog updates.
What are your rates for wedding photography?
If you’re looking for the type of coverage that you’ll find in my blogs and wedding gallery, I recommend spending at least $2500. There are some cheaper packages that start around $1500, but this particular package provides full day coverage, a complimentary engagement session and a hardcover album. You may like to invest a nicer album or need more coverage, but this package serves as a good starting point.
We’re interested in hiring you to shoot our wedding, how do we book you?
The first step before booking me is to inquire about my availability to see if I’m available to shoot your wedding day. Sometimes I receive inquires over a year in advance while other times couples contact me as late as two months before the big day. Obviously the earlier you contact me, the chances of my availability increase, but I encourage couples to contact me anytime in case my schedule opens up for whatever reason. If I am available and you’d like to book me, a signed contract and a retainer fee of $500 is due which goes towards your balance.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes I do, and I actually prefer to travel and see new places!
How come I don’t see many group shots, do you take these?
I typically try to take a large family group photo because I think these are important to have (… and from my experience the first photo most families ask for is the portrait containing all of the family). However, this being said, I don’t spend much time taking group photos. Since most guests carry pocket-sized digital cameras these days, I think it’s important to spend most of our time on creative portraits.
Do we get copies of our wedding photos on a cd or dvd?
The digital files from your wedding are placed on several dvd’s accompanied with permission to print the images for personal use. You will be able to print these files at any store or even on your personal printer.
